Priest is an action horror film that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Set in a sci-fi futuristic world where man battles vampires, Priest is a retired warlord that has resigned himself into seclusion. However, when a band of blood thirsty vampires kidnaps his niece, Priest is once again called into action before the night creatures transform his niece into one of them. Assisted by his niece’s boyfriend and a retired warrior priestess, Priest launches a full scale assault on the dark side. Priest was directed by Scott Charles Stewart and ranks high on the must-see vampire genre films. Priest stars Paul Bettany in the title role, Karl Urban, Cam Gigandet, Maggie Q and Christoffer Plummer as the Monsignor. Priest is rated PG-13 for violence, some strong language and disturbing images. Priest may not be for everyone, however, it’s a two thumbs-up vampire movie for those who need another neck biting fix.
