The Adjustment Bureau stars Matt Damon as a man who looks into his future and discovers his fate in life. Unhappy with what he sees, Damon is determined to alter the course of events and transform his future to another path. Filled with political intrigue, philosophical thought, and romance with a New York City ballerina played by Emily Blunt, Damon must overcome the obstacles to carve a future he can live with and set his life on a new course. The message of the film explores the human dilemma of divine fate versus man’s nature to go his or her own way with free will. The Adjustment Bureau is well-written and slickly executed to keep you on the edge of your seat. Directed by George Nolfi , who wrote Ocean’s Twelve and The Bourne Supremacy, this engaging script is chock full of action and plot twists and gets a two thumbs-up.
