Battle: Los Angeles is about a marine platoon that takes on mortal combat with alien forces in the streets of Los Angeles. High profile cities are always fun to see on the big screen to look for the famous boulevards and landmarks that everybody knows. Director Jonathan Liebesman worked with a generous budget of over $100,000,000 to bring Battle: Los Angeles to life with realistic sights and sounds reflecting a do or die battle zone. Battle: Los Angeles is more akin to an armed forces movie rather than traditional space genre sci-fi- film, and may pull in a wider appeal for those who appreciate a good war movie with a twist. Battle: Los Angeles stars Aaron Eckhart, Michelle Rodriguez, Bridget Moynahan and is rated PG-13.
