Halloween weekend is already here; and lucky for us there are some scary and chilling films that are available for our frightful pleasure both in theaters and on DVD. This is a hauntingly great option to have this weekend since there is so much going on and numerous choices to make for your spooky Halloween fun. So, do you want to brave the theaters this Halloween and be a part of the terrifying experience from an anticipated horror film, or do you want to rent a frightening new release that will have you hiding behind your sofa in fear. In either case, nothing gets your heart pounding and Halloween spirit revved more than a good scary movie.
If you are a horror movie fan who would rather stay at home and catch a good thrill then you should check out Lake Placid 3 and 30 Days of Night: Dark Days. These newly released DVDs are just in time for this scary weekend and will provide you with fantastic Halloween fun.

This last installment of the series is a gruesome and blood-curdling edition that takes you to the edge and enthralls you from the opening scene. In this horror film, the remaining Jigsaw survivors come together and seek out support from Bobby Dagen, a fellow Jigsaw survivor who has turned into a self-help guru. Little do they know that his own personal demons will come around full blast and start a whole new terror frenzy equip with blood bath. This film follows suit with it’s predecessors and displays horrific and gruesome scenes that will creep you out. So, if you have a weak stomach or are squeamish around blood, then this film is not for you. However, if you enjoy a good jolt and are up for anything eerie and terrifying, then this horror film is the one for you. Saw 3D is a shuddersome finale to a horrific series and is sure to have your Halloween spirit chilled to the bone.
