A better Life is set in East Los Angeles and deals with the struggle of a father to keep his son away from the gangs, drugs and cycle of violence. Finding work with wealthy home owners in the county, the father finds employment as a landscaper in this saga of determination to strive for the top and give his son a better life. Better Life was directed by Chris Weitz and stars Demian Bichir, Eddie ‘Piolin’ Sotelo, Joaquin Cosio and Nancy Lenehan. Rated PG-13 for violence, strong language and drug use, A Better Life is an inspirational story for mature audiences.
