To sum up the general plot, Super is the tale of an ordinary guy bothered by a drug dealer that transforms his bumbling life into his fantasy super hero character called Crimson Bolt. Though he has passion and drive to thwart crime and save the world, his heroic abilities often leave him in the lurch. Super was written and directed by James Gunn and stars Rainn Wilson, Kevin Bacon, Ellen Page and Liv Tyler. This action comedy is good for some laughs and contains a load of slapstick and a sprinkling of witty one-liners. Super is rated PG.
