Thor is an action/adventure tale based on the Marvel Comic books that captivates and sucks you in right from the start. Thor is cast down to the earth and must first deal with his new human body before conquering the menacing forces and powers that be. Superbly acted by relative newcomer to the big screen, Chris Hemsworth, Thor charges through with a stellar cast and clever script. Thor was directed by Kenneth Branagh and also stars Anthony Hopkins, Natalie Portman, and Rene Russo as Thor’s mother. Thor is rated PG-13 for some violence and is a must-see movie that you could watch twice.
